Dating from the late 19th Century, this confiture pot is fully glazed on the interior and exterior in a beautiful pale yellow. Made from terracotta, the glaze is mottled and aged with parts of the terracotta showing through.
This is a very old and well used item with many decades of use. As such, it has age-related marks, scratches and scrapes which enhance its rustic appeal.
