About Maison Laubarede

Located between the historic cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse, Maison Laubarede was founded to find the very best antiques in France, curating a collection of unique items that are looking for their place in your home.

It all started after a magical visit to the beautiful UNESCO world heritage site of Carcassonne in 2017. A truly beautiful place with great people, fantastic food (try the cassoulet!) and amazing antiques. It was on this trip that we knew our future was in France.

In 2019, we took the plunge and moved lock, stock and barrel to the beautiful countryside in the Lot et Garonne department to renovate a charming old Maison de Mâitre. It was at this time that we started our collection of antiques.

Since then we have been scouring France to find the very best antiques in the country.

We use our network of antiques dealers and visit some the worlds best antique fairs to find the very best items for your home. With regular trips to the best antique suppliers in Bordeaux, L'Isle sur la sorgue, Avignon, Toulouse and everywhere in between. Sometimes we are lucky enough to be invited to buy unique items direct from the château or farmhouse that they have been in for the last 150 years.
