SHIPPING
All items will be despatched from our facility fully insured by respected international couriers.
Delivery is kerbside at your address. It does not include bringing into your property, or removal from packaging unless specifically agreed (with additional fees).For USA customers, it is really important to note that some forms have to be filled out by you. One example of this is the 5016 Create Importer Identity Form, which is required by US Customs and Border Protection authority. This is a relatively simple form to complete, but This form must be completed within 5 business days of the goods arriving on US soil, or the US CBP will deport the goods.
PACKAGING
Some items will be dispatched in timber cases with suitable protective layers inside. Occasionally for smaller or less fragile items, we will use high grade cardboard packaging with suitable protective layers inside.
IMPORT DUTIES, FEES & PROCESS
USA
The price paid at checkout includes delivery but does not include import duties and local taxes. Our courier will process customs paperwork. For some items, USA customs require an identity form to be completed by the customer which can be completed online. You (the customer) must complete this within 5 days of notification, otherwise USA customs will return the items to us. In this case, our returns policy will apply, including restocking fee (see below)
EU & UK
The price paid at checkout includes delivery and all import duties, charges and VAT/TVA. After despatch, if the items cannot be delivered, our returns policy will apply (see below)
REST OF WORLD
Contact us to confirm if any additional charges will be due. We will check on a case by case basis. After despatch, if the items cannot be delivered, our returns policy will apply, including restocking fee (see below)
RETURNS POLICY
In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your items, we accept returns based on the following conditions:
1. You (the customer) must request a return slip by emailing bonjour@maisonlaubarede.com before dispatching the item.
2. This request must be initiated within 14 days of the original delivery.
3. You (the customer) are responsible for the cost of the return. This includes packing the item, shipping costs, insurance and import duties into France. We may be able to help with organising the logistics of the return, but cannot guarantee this.
4. If you reside outside of the EU, your return will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. This will be deducted from the refund.
We do not offer returns on sale or discounted items.
The returned item must be in the same condition as when sold. Any damages are the responsibility of you (the customer).
