Antique French Clock

This antique French clock has 'Chocolat Guerin-Boutron' on the face. It is a lovely authentic clock in a style that is often reproduced.

These were made to promote the Guerin-Boutron chocolate brand and would have hung on the wall of a cafe or brasserie. It dates from around 1920.

Its mechanism looks intact, but does not function. It could be looked at by an expert, or have a modern mechanism installed.

This is a very old and well used item with many decades of use. As such, it has age-related marks, scratches and scrapes which enhance its rustic appeal.
