A lovely ornate cast-iron urn, dating from the early 20th Century. With what looks to be a dandelion flower pattern. Cast iron urns became an important feature of French garden design in the 18th Century and have continued to be popular ever since. Can be beautifully styled indoors or outdoors as a decorative object or as a planter.
This is a very old and well used item with many decades of use. As such, it has age-related marks, scratches and scrapes which enhance its rustic appeal.
