This antique French glazed jug was made circa 1900 in the town of Dieulefit in the Drome department of France.
Made with a very light coloured clay and glazed with beautiful green and a soft yellow which now shows with a crackled patina.
Very useful and very beautiful.
This is a very old and well used item with many decades of use. As such, it has age-related marks, scratches and scrapes which enhance its rustic appeal.
