This confit/pot á graisse was typically found in country kitchens of the South West of France and traditionally used for preserving food. It is finished with a beige glaze.
It is an Ideal vessel for kitchen utensils, displaying plants, or simply a decorative piece for your home.
This is a very old and well used item with many decades of use. As such, it has age-related marks, scratches and scrapes which enhance its rustic appeal. It has not been tested for water tightness, and is sold as a decorative object.
