This antique terracotta strainer/colander with a green and yellow glaze, originates from the south coast of France. It would have been used for washing vegetables and fruits.
This is a very old and well used item with many decades of use. As such, it has age-related marks, scratches and scrapes which enhance its rustic appeal.
